Overview

Quad Preparatory School is a nonprofit independent K–12 school in New York City that serves twice-exceptional students who are gifted and have learning differences. Its program combines rigorous academics with in-house social-emotional learning, executive functioning support, and clinical services delivered by educators and clinicians working together. The curriculum is ceilingless and strengths-based, letting students progress by ability and interest rather than by grade, with a very low student-to-teacher ratio (about 2:1). Fundraising supports the gap between tuition and program costs, and the school aims to develop academic talents and social-emotional skills to prepare students for college and beyond.
