Lytx provides video telematics and fleet management solutions to help fleets improve driver safety and operational efficiency. It combines in-cab and forward-facing cameras with telematics devices and data analytics to monitor driving behavior, vehicle performance, and operational metrics. The hardware collects video and sensor data while the software analyzes it using machine vision and AI to generate insights, dashboards, and reports for fleet managers. Customers pay a subscription that covers hardware plus ongoing access to the software platform and analytics. Lytx differentiates itself by tightly integrating video data with telematics and applying data mining and machine learning to deliver actionable recommendations and help fleets meet safety standards such as the Direct Vision Standard and Vision Zero. The company’s goal is to reduce accidents, improve safety, and optimize fleet operations for its clients.

Lytx, a video safety and telematics provider, has appointed Jennifer Cortez as Chief Marketing Officer. Cortez brings over 20 years of B2B and SaaS marketing experience to lead the company's marketing strategy, brand development and revenue acceleration initiatives. Most recently, Cortez served as CMO at Alkami Technology, a cloud-based digital banking provider. She previously spent nearly a decade at Transplace (now Uber Freight), overseeing corporate marketing and communications through rapid growth and a private equity transaction. Her career includes guiding organisations through acquisitions, IPOs and major transactions. Lytx provides video safety and telematics solutions powered by machine vision and artificial intelligence, serving more than 6.3 million drivers and thousands of fleets across 90 countries.
WasteVision AI has launched a production-ready integration with Lytx, enabling waste haulers using Lytx's safety platform to add operational AI capabilities without replacing existing systems. The integration extends fleet intelligence from cab safety monitoring to collection operations. WasteVision's platform uses computer vision to provide three core functions: Service Verification, which automatically documents collection events; Overflow Detection, identifying overflowing bins for surcharge assessment; and Contamination Detection, spotting unwanted materials in waste streams. The system analyses images captured during collection, providing photographic evidence tied to specific locations. The integration combines Lytx's safety data with WasteVision's operational insights, allowing haulers to correlate safety events with collection activities. Lytx currently protects over 6.3 million drivers with video safety and telematics technology. Early adopters report improved visibility and new revenue from AI-verified overflow surcharges.
Lytx has unveiled a suite of integrated fleet management technologies at its annual Protect Conference. The company introduced LytxOne, an all-in-one platform combining video safety, telematics, maintenance, compliance and asset tracking in a unified architecture. The solution is currently available for purchase, with Lytx's Driver Safety Program to be integrated in Q3/Q4 2026. LytxOne joins Lytx+, launched in 2025, as the company's second all-in-one offering. Lytx is also collaborating with Platform Science to integrate its video technology into Platform Science's Virtual Vehicle system for enterprise trucking. The company announced an AI Assistant, currently in beta, that synthesises fleet data into actionable insights. CEO Chris Cabrera said the platforms deliver "a new standard for fleet technology, transforming operational complexity into total clarity".
LandCare, a leading US commercial landscaping company, has implemented Lytx+ with Geotab across its 1,200-vehicle fleet, achieving improvements in safety and operational efficiency. The integrated solution combines video safety technology with telematics in a single platform. Operating across 26 states and 75 locations, LandCare previously used basic telematics with limited visibility into driving behaviours. The new system provides real-time video, actionable data and advanced analytics, enabling managers to identify and coach risky behaviours before incidents occur. The platform also supports LandCare's sustainability efforts by monitoring electric vehicle power consumption and identifying candidates for fleet electrification. The solution offers unified installation, billing and reporting through a single interface.
