Verisoul

Web3 identity verification and privacy credentials

Overview

Verisoul provides a digital credential protocol for Web3 that verifies real, unique identities and helps prevent bots and fraud on communities. The product issues privacy-preserving, reusable digital credentials that can be attached to a user’s account and reused across any blockchain without sharing personal data. Unlike other solutions, it focuses on cross-chain portability and privacy, enabling a single identity to work with multiple Web3 platforms while keeping PII hidden. Its goal is to restore trust in Web3 by ensuring only genuine users participate, reducing fraud and bots and improving user experience and community security, with revenue likely from platform partnerships, licensing, or usage-based pricing.

April 30 2026 In the US, full service MR and data collection agency Ironwood Insights Group has integrated advanced fraud detection technology from Verisoul into its proprietary RealRespondent fraud prevention platform. Full service MR firm Ironwood was founded in 2017, is headquartered in Chandler, Arizona, and offers research design, qual and quant data collection, data processing, analytics, reporting and dashboard visualization. Austin, Texas-based Verisoul uses active forensics to analyze thousands of network, device, behavior and identity signals for every user, in real time, to prevent survey fraud including bots, duplicates and other fraudsters. The firm partnered with Research Results six months ago, and also works with companies in AdTech, AI and FinTech. Aside from Verisoul's technology, RealRespondent uses a mix of AI-led technologies and human-directed logic and analytical protocols to offer what it calls 'a new tier of defenses against mal activity,' - evolving and adapting continuously to fight new kinds of fraud and promise high quality data. Ironwood CEO Brad Larson says of the latest addition: 'We are incredibly excited about the powerful impact Verisoul is having on our already robust RealRespondent platform. Since our testing, which began in May of 2025, we've seen significantly higher catch rates across numerous malicious activities and our data collection efficiency and data quality metrics continue to climb dramatically. Integrating Verisoul's state-of-the-art verification software into our suite of AI-led fraud mitigation technologies accelerates our ability to stay ahead of increasingly sophisticated fraudulent activities.' Verisoul Raises $8.8M Series A to Fight Fraud, Fake Users, and Bots in the AI Era

Verisoul raises $8.8M Series A to fight fraud, fake users, and bots in the AI era. * The round was led by High Alpha with participation from new and existing investors including Lookout Ventures, Bain Future Back Ventures, Bitkraft, and Third Prime. * In two years since commercialization, Verisoul has scaled from zero to 100+ customers, achieving over 6x YoY ARR growth each year. * Named Austin's 2024 "Emerging Startup of the Year," Verisoul is already protecting market leaders like Clay, Augment Code, and Morning Consult from hundreds of millions of AI-driven attacks. Verisoul, the all-in-one platform for stopping fake accounts and fraud, today announced an $8.8 million Series A funding round led by venture capital firm High Alpha, with participation from Lookout Ventures, Bitkraft, Bain Future Back Ventures, and Third Prime. Since raising its $3.25 million seed round, Verisoul has scaled from zero to 100+ customers while achieving over 6x ARR growth in the past year. This momentum reinforces Verisoul's designation as the "Emerging Startup of the Year" at the 2024 Austin A-List Awards. Verisoul's growth mirrors the explosive rise in AI-driven fraud. Intelligent fraud attack volume has surged more than 250% year over year as fraudsters have access to autonomous agents that scale infinitely, mimic human intelligence, and easily subvert CAPTCHAs. In a world where users, content, and even identities can now be AI-generated, verifying users is increasingly important yet difficult. "Fake users are overwhelming the internet, and AI is making the problem exponentially worse for virtually every digital business," said Verisoul co-founder and CEO Henry LeGard. "We started Verisoul to stop fraud at every moment throughout the user journey - empowering companies of all sizes and in all industries to ensure users are real, unique, and trusted." Unlike narrow point solutions, Verisoul acts across the entire user lifecycle - from first click to conversion and beyond. By combining real-time behavioral, device, and network forensics with identity signals such as email intelligence and ID verification, the platform builds a holistic, high-fidelity profile of every user. And instead of passive techniques and data aggregation, Verisoul relies on spoof-resistant forensics, which are scored against internally developed AI models and evaluated against customer-specific rules. The result is an actionable label - "Real," "Suspicious," or "Fake" - for every user, account, and transaction. Because of this precision, Verisoul consistently displaces incumbents in head-to-head technical evaluations - winning over 80% of competitive tests. The platform already protects customers across 12 industries, ranging from advertising and market research to payments and financial services. "As our company grows, securing our user base against sophisticated fake accounts, data scraping, and payment fraud is non-negotiable," said Yash Tekriwal, GTM Engineer at Clay. "Verisoul has given us confidence in the quality of our signups and made a huge impact on our ability to track data credits and AI tokens. It's a critical part of our fraud strategy as we scale." Verisoul is led by co-founder and CEO Henry LeGard, who previously served as leading identity and fraud provider TransUnion's youngest Director. LeGard is joined by co-founder and CPO Raine Scott, who previously led fraud and risk teams at Ahead Financial and Meta, and co-founder and CTO Niel Katkar, who worked on the identity layer at Capital One. "In a world where fraud is costing companies billions and AI is weaponizing bad actors, Verisoul is building the next generation of digital trust," said Scott Dorsey, co-founder and managing partner at High Alpha. "Verisoul's growth trajectory is rare, driven by Henry's vision, his exceptional team, and the technically superior solution they've developed. Verisoul's platform doesn't just block fake users - it is uniquely positioned to be the single source of truth for user integrity at high-growth companies." The company will use the capital to significantly expand its team, accelerate product development, and scale its go-to-market efforts as it helps businesses defend against increasingly intelligent fraud.
