Overview

Anderson Center for Autism provides education, residential living, vocational training, and clinical support for people with autism across childhood to adulthood. It runs a residential school for ages 5-21 with a low student-teacher ratio and ABA-based instruction to teach academic, social, and communication skills. For adults, LifeLong Learning Centers offer day habilitation, continued learning, vocational training, and community participation, and the center runs 25 group homes in the Hudson Valley. An interdisciplinary team supports each person, with most services funded by school districts, while additional programs like Anderson Center Consulting & Training and Anderson Center International extend impact by promoting autism-friendly environments and hosting global scholars.
