In fact, within a structured behaviorial weight-loss program, daily self weighing was associated with approximately 13 pounds greater weight loss over six months compared with weighing less frequently, according to a study conducted by Dr. Dori M. Steinberg affiliated with the Duke Obesity Prevention Program and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
