Foggiano's appointment coincides with the company's next phase of growth and follows the planned leadership transition from Jarrad Rankin, former vice president of operations and the company's first assistive technology professional (ATP). During his onboarding, Foggiano will take a phased approach to leading the company's operational structure. Initially, the customer service and business support teams will fall under his leadership, allowing him to evaluate operational challenges, identify bottlenecks, and better understand how they impact the organization. Insurance, revenue cycle, and field operations will then transition under his leadership, enabling him to build scalable operating models, align cross-functional teams, and strengthen organizational culture and capabilities. Foggiano's operational impact earned him the Chairman's Pursuit of Excellence Award, the highest honor given to employees by American Specialty Health. American Specialty Health Plans of CA has launched its High-Performing Provider Designation programme for California health plans. The initiative identifies chiropractors and acupuncturists who meet enhanced standards focused on member experience, including patient satisfaction, evidence-based care delivery, and clinic quality. The programme uses data from ASHP's Clinical Performance System to select providers who exceed traditional clinical quality criteria. ASHP's integrated conservative-care programmes have previously demonstrated 10% to 56% reductions in musculoskeletal costs through performance monitoring and contracting.
