Artisan Partners (NYSE:APAM) surprises with Q2 CY2026 sales.

Artisan Partners (NYSE:APAM) surprises with Q2 CY2026 sales. Posted on July 29, 2026 By News Team Asset management firm Artisan Partners (NYSE:APAM) reported Q2 CY2026 results topping the market's revenue expectations, with sales up 8.9% year on year to $307.9 million. Its non-GAAP profit of $0.94 per share was 3% above analysts' consensus estimates. Company overview. Founded in 1994 with a focus on autonomous investment teams and a "high-value-added" approach, Artisan Partners (NYSE:APAM) is an investment management firm that offers actively managed equity and fixed income strategies to institutional and individual investors. Revenue growth. A company's long-term sales performance is one signal of its overall quality. Even a bad business can shine for one or two quarters, but a top-tier one grows for years. Over the last five years, Artisan Partners grew its revenue at a sluggish 2.8% compounded annual growth rate. This fell short of its benchmarks and is a rough starting point for its analysis. Long-term growth is the most important, but within financials, a half-decade historical view may miss recent interest rate changes and market returns. Artisan Partners's annualized revenue growth of 9.9% over the last two years is above its five-year trend, suggesting some bright spots.Note: Quarters not shown were determined to be outliers because they were impacted by outsized investment gains/losses that are not indicative of the recurring fundamentals of the business. This quarter, Artisan Partners reported year-on-year revenue growth of 8.9%, and its $307.9 million of revenue exceeded Wall Street's estimates by 2.3%. ONE MORE THING: 3 Hidden Platforms Growing 3X Faster than Amazon, Google, and PayPal. Amazon, Google, and Meta all followed the same playbook: Dominate an ignored market. Build an unbeatable moat. Scale until you're unstoppable. These three platforms are running that exact playbook right now. The early investors in Amazon made fortunes. The early investors in these could do the same. Get All 3 Stocks Here for FREE. Assets Under Management (AUM). Assets Under Management (AUM) encompasses all client funds under a firm's investment management umbrella. The recurring fee structure on these assets provides consistent revenue generation, offering financial stability even during periods of poor investment returns, though sustained underperformance can impact future asset flows. Artisan Partners's AUM has grown at an annual rate of 2.6% over the last five years, much worse than the broader financials industry and mirrored its total revenue. When analyzing Artisan Partners's AUM over the last two years, Equity Insider can see that growth accelerated to 8.8% annually. Fundraising or short-term investment performance was a net detractor to the company over this shorter period since assets grew slower than total revenue. That said, assets aren't the be-all and end-all due to their unpredictable and cyclical nature. In Q2, Artisan Partners's AUM was $183.4 billion, meeting analysts' expectations. This print was 4.5% higher than the same quarter last year. Key takeaways from Artisan Partners's Q2 results. It was encouraging to see Artisan Partners beat analysts' revenue expectations this quarter. Equity Insider were also glad its EPS outperformed Wall Street's estimates. Overall, this print had some key positives. The stock remained flat at $41.15 immediately following the results. Sure, Artisan Partners had a solid quarter, but if Equity Insider look at the bigger picture, is this stock a buy? The latest quarter does matter, but not nearly as much as longer-term fundamentals and valuation, when deciding if the stock is a buy.

Artisan Partners exits Colliers (TSX:CIGI) stake over engineering diversification concerns

Artisan Partners has publicly questioned Colliers International Group's expansion into engineering and design, revealing it has reallocated capital to other opportunities. The institutional shareholder's pushback highlights concerns about whether Colliers' diversification beyond commercial real estate enhances shareholder value or dilutes core strengths. In May 2026, Colliers' board approved a share buyback programme for up to 4.3 million subordinate voting shares, roughly 8.6% of the float, whilst maintaining its US$0.15 semi-annual dividend. The capital return plan now faces scrutiny as investors assess how Colliers balances buybacks and dividends against acquisition-driven growth in engineering. Colliers' narrative projects $7.7 billion revenue and $302.5 million earnings by 2029, requiring 10.4% annual revenue growth. Some analysts had forecast US$7.6 billion revenue and US$380 million earnings by 2029, though expectations may shift following Artisan's concerns about engineering integration and leverage.

Artisan Value Fund adds Amazon at historic valuation lows, sees $2.87T tech giant's AI investments masking long-term profit potential

Artisan Value Fund has initiated a position in Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN), which closed at $266.32 per share on 22 May 2026, with a market capitalisation of $2.87 trillion. The stock gained 32.50% over the past 52 weeks. The fund views Amazon as a high-quality franchise where near-term investment obscures long-term earnings potential. Amazon's retail platform is supported by its extensive logistics network, whilst AWS contributes roughly 60% of operating income and maintains strong positioning in AI with proprietary chips. Despite elevated capital expenditure on AI infrastructure, robotics and delivery capabilities, Amazon maintains a strong financial position with significant net cash. The fund believes current earnings understate normalised profitability, with the stock trading near historic valuation lows at the time of purchase.
