Axiado

AI-driven hardware security solutions for infrastructure

Overview

Axiado provides AI-driven hardware security solutions that protect digital infrastructure by embedding security into servers, 5G networks, and data centers. Its core offerings—the Secure Vault core and Secure AI preemptive threat detection engine—are built into Trusted Control Units (TCUs) and deliver real-time, proactive AI-based threat detection. The TCUs are Open Compute Project (OCP) compliant, enabling faster adoption across cloud datacenters, 5G base stations, switches, and power controllers. Unlike software-only defenses, Axiado combines hardware security modules with software to meet the needs of enterprises requiring high assurance. The goal is to make data security the default across the infrastructure chain and reduce the global economic impact of cybercrime.

Axiado wins Gold at 2026 Cybersecurity Excellence Awards for ai-driven infrastructure security.

Axiado wins Gold at 2026 Cybersecurity Excellence Awards for ai-driven infrastructure security. Axiado Corporation has been awarded the Gold honour in the AI Security Solution category at the 2026 Cybersecurity Excellence Awards, recognising its innovative silicon-based approach to securing modern data centre infrastructure. The award highlights Axiado's Trusted Control/Compute Unit (TCU), a system-on-chip designed to protect the infrastructure control plane of AI and cloud-based data centres. The recognition comes at a time when global investment in AI infrastructure is accelerating rapidly, increasing the need for more advanced and resilient security frameworks. As AI workloads continue to expand, data centres are becoming larger and more complex, with projections indicating significant growth in energy consumption and infrastructure scale over the coming years. In India, investments in hyperscale data centres are expected to exceed $10 billion by the end of the decade, driven by increasing adoption of artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and digital services. Axiado's solution addresses a critical gap in traditional security models, which often rely on legacy components not designed for modern AI environments. By embedding AI capabilities directly into silicon, the company enables security to operate at the hardware level, below the operating system and hypervisor layers. The Trusted Control/Compute Unit integrates multiple security and management functions into a single chip, including root-of-trust, platform attestation, system monitoring, and baseboard management capabilities. This architecture allows continuous analysis of system behaviour, including firmware integrity, user access patterns, workload activity, and hardware signals such as temperature and voltage. The platform is designed to detect anomalies early, including advanced threats such as side-channel attacks that attempt to compromise systems during boot processes or runtime operations. By operating at the hardware layer, it enhances visibility and control across the entire infrastructure stack. In addition to security, the system incorporates AI-driven efficiency features. These include dynamic thermal management and intelligent performance scaling, which optimise energy usage and cooling requirements based on workload conditions. Testing indicates that such capabilities can deliver substantial cost savings in large-scale deployments. The Cybersecurity Excellence Awards recognise organisations that demonstrate measurable innovation and leadership in cybersecurity. Axiado's recognition reflects a broader industry shift toward hardware-rooted security architectures as enterprises and cloud providers scale AI infrastructure globally. The company continues to work with leading technology partners to advance secure, efficient, and scalable solutions for next-generation data centres.

Axiado raises $100 million for a chip that saves space and power in AI servers

Axiado raises $100 million for a chip that saves space and power in AI servers. Axiado, a Silicon Valley startup, said it raised $100 million to build a new chip for AI data centers. The chip is meant to take up less space and use less power than the older chips now on server boards. Many servers in AI centers need small management chips to handle instructions and keep the board secure. Axiado wants to combine those older chips into one smaller chip. This matters because data centers are already tight on space as companies pack in more GPUs and cooling gear. The Axiado chip also uses AI itself. It learns what normal server behavior looks like and can spot unusual actions that might be cyberattacks. The chip can also control cooling systems and cut cooling energy use by as much as half. Axiado's founder says the chip can predict how much GPU capacity a task will need. That means servers do not have to run extra hardware when it is not needed, saving more energy and space.
