Samuel brings with him a strong background in building GenAI features into software products. With over 15 years of experience in natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning, from research to building sophisticated agentic solutions for various industries, Samuel has been a key player in designing and delivering AI systems from early discovery all the way to production deployment. Building AI systems that meet high expectations for delivery, privacy, and reliability "Brillian has a unique holistic focus on AI transformation, which fits very well with how I want to design human-centric agentic solutions, and that's why I felt compelled to join.", Samuel says. As Lead AI Engineer at Brillian, Samuel's focus will be on building agentic AI systems that are not only technically strong but also usable, interpretable, and trustworthy parts of software. With hands-on experience from how to handle evaluation and monitoring of the models as well as human-in-the-loop workflows, Samuel also knows what is required in fields such as finance and legal, where there are high expectations for privacy and reliability. A strong addition to its AI team Samuel holds a PhD in Computer Science with a focus on text mining, NLP, deep learning, and visual analytics, and has worked in both academic and industry settings.
