Bulletproof sparks a new wave of coffee culture for L'OR Espresso Concentrate.

Bulletproof sparks a new wave of coffee culture for L'OR Espresso Concentrate. Bulletproof has partnered with L'OR to launch its new Espresso Concentrate, reimagining the brand for a more expressive, personalised era of coffee. For Gen Z, it's no longer just about coffee. It's about finding the right beverage for the mood or moment. Designed for a generation that sees drinks as identity and self-expression, the launch shifts L'OR from serving coffee to inspiring creativity. Bulletproof led the end-to-end design, from strategy to packaging, creating a platform built around the idea of Pour Creativity. As younger consumers look to shape rituals they can share, Espresso Concentrate offers the freedom to experiment and create coffee their own way. "At L'OR, we saw an opportunity to blend quality with creativity, giving people the freedom to play with their coffee," said [Laura Verde, L'OR Global Brand Director]. "We embraced the chance to take L'OR beyond coffee and into culture," said Amy Tsang, Strategy Director at Bulletproof. "Gen Z aren't thinking in categories, they're thinking in moods and moments. They're creating a drinks culture they can own, both online and in real life. Espresso Concentrate taps into that shift, giving people the freedom to experiment, remix and make coffee their own." More than a launch, it's an open invitation to create. June 3, 2026

Black Dog reimagined: A bold new chapter in luxury whisky.

Black Dog reimagined: A bold new chapter in luxury whisky. A new creative collaboration between Bulletproof and Diageo India repositions Black Dog whisky as a modern luxury brand. Rooted in heritage yet designed for contemporary tastes, the refreshed identity celebrates craftsmanship, complexity and elevated experiences, aiming to resonate with a new generation of discerning whisky drinkers. A storied whisky brand has stepped confidently into a new era as Diageo India joins forces with Bulletproof to unveil a reimagined identity for Black Dog, blending heritage with a distinctly modern sensibility. The collaboration signals a strategic shift in how legacy spirits brands engage with evolving consumer expectations, where storytelling, design and experience converge to define luxury. At the heart of the transformation lies a clear ambition: to create a brand that moves with the times while remaining anchored in its rich legacy. Black Dog, long associated with refinement and tradition, is now positioned as a whisky that speaks to a generation seeking depth, nuance and authenticity. The rebranding captures this duality, presenting a layered personality that reflects both craftsmanship and contemporary culture. The new narrative centres on the sensory experience of whisky itself. Each pour is described as a composition of flavours - oak, toffee, vanilla, spice and fruit - working in harmony to deliver a sophisticated tasting journey. This emphasis on complexity elevates Black Dog beyond a mere beverage, framing it instead as an experience to be savoured, appreciated and shared. It is a deliberate move to align the brand with the rituals and emotional connections that define premium whisky consumption today. Equally significant is the shift in tone. The refreshed identity positions Black Dog as a whisky for those who set the pace rather than follow it. It speaks to consumers who value individuality and discernment, transforming the act of drinking whisky into a statement of personal style. Gatherings, in this context, become more than social occasions - they are curated moments that deserve something exceptional, something beyond the ordinary. For Bulletproof, the project exemplifies its philosophy of creating desire through disruption. As one of the world's largest independent brand agencies, the company brings together strategists, creatives and innovation specialists to craft brands that stand out in competitive markets. Its partnership with global organisations such as Mondelēz International, The Heineken Company and Booking.com underscores its expertise in building narratives that resonate across diverse audiences. The Black Dog rebrand reflects this approach, combining strategic insight with creative execution to reposition the whisky within the premium segment. By focusing on sensory richness and cultural relevance, the campaign seeks to deepen consumer engagement and foster a sense of aspiration around the brand. The collaboration also highlights a broader trend within the spirits industry, where heritage brands are increasingly embracing reinvention to remain relevant. As consumer preferences shift towards premiumisation and experiential value, brands must evolve without losing sight of their origins. Black Dog's new identity demonstrates how this balance can be achieved, marrying tradition with innovation in a way that feels both authentic and forward-looking. Beyond the creative output, the partnership is also a reflection of shared values. Bulletproof's certification as a B Corp underscores its commitment to responsible business practices, including the wellbeing of people, clients and the planet. This ethos aligns with the growing importance of sustainability and ethical considerations in brand building, particularly in industries where provenance and authenticity play a crucial role. For Diageo India, the reimagining of Black Dog represents an investment in long-term brand equity. By redefining luxury through storytelling and design, the company aims to strengthen its connection with consumers who are increasingly discerning in their choices. It is a move that recognises the power of branding not just to attract attention, but to create lasting emotional resonance. As the new Black Dog takes its place in the market, it carries with it a promise: of craftsmanship, complexity and elevated experiences. It is a whisky that invites consumers to slow down, to appreciate the interplay of flavours, and to celebrate moments that matter. In doing so, it redefines what it means to enjoy a premium spirit in a world that is constantly in motion. Ultimately, the rebrand is more than a visual or narrative refresh; it is a reassertion of identity. Black Dog emerges not only as a symbol of heritage, but as a dynamic expression of modern luxury - one that evolves with its audience while staying true to its roots.

Royal Challenge wins Silver at DBA Awards for bold brand transformation.

Royal Challenge wins Silver at DBA Awards for bold brand transformation. Royal Challenge has secured a Silver at the Design Business Association Awards, recognising a packaging refresh that evolved into a full-scale brand transformation. Led by Bulletproof in partnership with DIAGEO India, the project reframed the legacy brand for a new generation, proving design's power as a driver of business impact. Royal Challenge, one of India's most enduring legacy brands, has been awarded Silver at the prestigious Design Business Association (DBA) Awards, marking a significant milestone in its journey of reinvention. What began as a straightforward packaging refresh soon evolved into a comprehensive transformation, redefining the brand's identity for a new generation of consumers and demonstrating the profound impact of design in driving business success. The DBA Awards, widely regarded as a benchmark for excellence in design effectiveness, celebrate projects that deliver tangible commercial results through creativity. For Royal Challenge, the recognition underscores the importance of design not merely as an aesthetic exercise but as a strategic tool capable of reshaping perceptions and unlocking growth in one of the world's most complex and competitive "dark" markets. The transformation was spearheaded by Bulletproof, a global design agency known for its bold and innovative approach. Working closely with DIAGEO India, Bulletproof reimagined Royal Challenge's packaging and brand narrative, ensuring that the refresh resonated with contemporary audiences while honouring the brand's rich heritage. The result was a striking new identity that balanced modernity with legacy, appealing to younger consumers without alienating long-standing loyalists. The project's success lay in its ability to bridge tradition and innovation. By reframing Royal Challenge as a brand that speaks to ambition, resilience, and progress, the design team created a visual and emotional language that connected with India's evolving consumer base. The refreshed packaging, with its bold cues and refined detailing, became a symbol of confidence and aspiration, positioning Royal Challenge as more than just a product - it became a statement of identity. The recognition at the DBA Awards is not only a testament to the creative vision of Bulletproof but also to the trust and ambition of DIAGEO India. The collaboration between the two teams exemplifies how partnerships rooted in shared purpose can deliver transformative outcomes. DIAGEO India's willingness to embrace bold ideas and Bulletproof's expertise in translating those ideas into impactful design ensured that the project went beyond surface-level changes, embedding design at the heart of business strategy. In a market where alcohol brands face stringent restrictions on advertising and promotion, packaging often becomes the most powerful medium of communication. Royal Challenge's transformation demonstrates how design can transcend limitations, becoming a driver of visibility, differentiation, and consumer engagement. The Silver award at the DBA is therefore not just an accolade for creative excellence but also a recognition of design's role in navigating regulatory challenges and achieving commercial impact. For Royal Challenge, the journey is far from over. The award signals a new chapter in its legacy, one where design continues to play a central role in shaping its future. As consumer expectations evolve and competition intensifies, the brand's ability to adapt while staying true to its roots will remain crucial. With this recognition, Royal Challenge has proven that design, when harnessed strategically, is not just about how a brand looks - it is about how a brand lives, breathes, and thrives in the marketplace. The Silver at the DBA Awards is a proud moment for both Bulletproof and DIAGEO India, affirming their shared belief in the transformative power of design. It is a reminder that creativity, when aligned with vision and ambition, can redefine legacies and inspire generations to come.
