Chestnut Health Systems is a nonprofit health system serving people in Illinois and Missouri through connected behavioral and primary care. Its services include residential and outpatient addiction treatment, mental health counseling, and housing support for people with mental illness. Medical and dental care sit alongside recovery and prevention programs, with care teams linking patients to other services as needed. Its Lighthouse Institute conducts research on prevention, treatment and recovery and trains care providers to use practices supported by evidence.
