Citizen.com provides a mobile application that delivers real-time alerts about emergencies and incidents reported to 911, aimed at enhancing personal safety and community awareness. The app works by sending notifications within seconds of an incident, allowing users to stay informed about potential dangers in their vicinity, such as robberies or road closures. Users can also contribute by sharing live video or updates, fostering a sense of community and shared safety. Unlike traditional emergency alert systems, Citizen.com focuses on real-time, user-generated content, which can offer faster and more accurate information during emergencies. The company's goal is to keep individuals, families, and communities informed and safe, while operating in the growing digital safety market.
