Clear Capital verified by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac for new property data report standard

Clear Capital announced that its Universal Data Collection (UDC) solution has been verified by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to support the Uniform Property Data Report (UPDR) specifications. The company completed the verification process on 17 June 2026, ahead of the 30 June implementation deadline. The UPDR establishes a standardised format for property data delivered through the government-sponsored enterprises' value acceptance programmes. Clear Capital's UDC solution provides property data in the UPDR format and includes a proprietary Report Summary designed to help underwriters identify key information, risk indicators, and potential data deficiencies. The verification comes as the mortgage industry undergoes significant modernisation, with the Uniform Appraisal Dataset 3.6 mandate set to take effect in November.

The real estate analytics, valuation technology, and data solutions provider announced that the integration enables lenders to securely share data between Clear Capital's solutions and MeridianLink's platform, helping improve quality and efficiency throughout the loan process. The company said its integration capabilities allow lenders to access a range of collateral solutions through a single provider while applying consistent standards across valuations to reduce variability and improve data quality from order through delivery. "This partnership with MeridianLink expands how lenders can access Clear Capital's collateral solutions within the workflows they rely on every day," said Kenon Chen, executive vice president of strategy and growth at Clear Capital. By Amit Chowdhry - May 13, 2026 Clear Capital has strengthened its real estate analytics and valuation technology platform with the acquisition of Restb.ai, the Barcelona-based leader in AI-powered computer vision for property analysis. The company says the acquisition will bring deeper, more actionable property intelligence to customers across the global real estate and mortgage ecosystem. By adding Restb.ai's image recognition and data enrichment capabilities to its product suite, Clear Capital is expanding the reach of its existing technology, which includes CubiCasa, the digital floor-plan and virtual-tour company it acquired in 2021. Clear Capital plans to integrate Restb.ai's technology across its platforms while retaining the Restb.ai brand. The company says the combination will modernize valuation workflows by embedding AI-driven visual intelligence into mobile floor plan technology and advanced analytics, improving accuracy, transparency and data quality across housing finance. Restb.ai's leadership says the acquisition provides additional resources to accelerate innovation while continuing to support the customers and partners that have made the company a category leader. The companies highlight strong synergies across property data, workflow automation and decision-ready intelligence for MLS organizations, lenders, appraisers and real estate professionals. With CubiCasa and now Restb.ai, Clear Capital says it is advancing its strategy to deliver a unified, AI-powered framework for property analysis. KEY QUOTES: "Joining forces with Restb.ai allows us to modernize the valuation landscape.
