Code42 specializes in protecting data from insider threats through its main product, Incydr. This software identifies suspicious patterns and behaviors that indicate an insider may be transferring data to untrusted systems, allowing companies to proactively address potential risks. Unlike many competitors, Code42 focuses specifically on insider threats, providing tailored solutions for various industries, including clients like Snowflake. Their business operates on a Software as a Service (SaaS) model, where clients subscribe to access the software online, benefiting from regular updates. The goal of Code42 is to help organizations avoid the high costs associated with insider incidents, which can average around $16 million, by offering effective data protection.
