CodeSignal provides an AI-native platform for assessing and developing technical talent, primarily for B2B customers. It offers tools to pre-screen, screen, and interview candidates, plus upskilling through CodeSignal Learn. The platform uses data-driven, real-world simulations and a standardized coding score to evaluate developer abilities, aiming to reduce hiring bias and save engineering time. It differentiates itself with features like Cosmo, an AI assistant that creates assessments and offers tutoring, and a focus on objective, skills-based hiring beyond resumes. The goal is to help companies hire more effectively, diversify their engineering pipelines, and support talent mobility by providing consistent, automatable evaluations for technical roles.

CodeSignal has launched agentic coding assessments, designed to evaluate engineers' ability to work with AI coding tools. The move reflects a significant shift in software development, according to a March 2026 survey of 450 US software engineers. The survey found that 91% of engineers now use agentic AI coding tools like Claude Code and Cursor in their work, whilst 75% have shipped production code partially or primarily AI-generated in the past six months. Additionally, 73% believe engineers who don't adopt these tools risk becoming less competitive. The new assessments require candidates to extract requirements, use agentic AI tools to build solutions, and explain their technical decisions. Over the past six months, tens of thousands of candidates have completed CodeSignal's AI-assisted coding assessments, with roughly one-third of customers adopting the format during 2025.
CodeSignal has launched a year-round partnership with Transform to create practice-based learning courses from conference sessions, debuting at Transform 2026 in Las Vegas. The Skills Lab converts live presentations into interactive courses available within hours, featuring role-play simulations, quizzes and hands-on exercises. Courses are developed using CodeSignal's AI-powered tools and reviewed by I-O psychologists, drawing on 2,800 hours of research and 3 million skills evaluation data points. Initial offerings include sessions on emotional intelligence, AI enablement and workforce policy, allowing attendees to practise skills through AI-driven personas and realistic workplace scenarios. Select courses will remain available to Transform's community year-round, with additional courses released throughout 2026. CodeSignal's platform is trusted by companies including Netflix, Meta and Dropbox.
CodeSignal, an AI-native skills platform, has launched Learn Academies, a unified learning and assessment experience that embeds skills validation directly into training programmes. The product addresses the gap between course completion and actual skill acquisition by combining hands-on learning content with job-relevant assessments. Organisations can deploy pre-built academies covering areas including GenAI, leadership, career readiness, data and AI engineering, or create custom programmes using their own content alongside CodeSignal's assessments. Each academy supports multiple tracks for differentiated learning paths. The platform builds on CodeSignal's experience in skills evaluation and is trusted by companies including Netflix, Capital One, Meta and Dropbox. Learn Academies aim to help organisations move beyond measuring course completion to verifying demonstrated skills in a single, scalable experience.
