CoFertility operates a platform that supports individuals and couples navigating fertility health, including trying to conceive and undergoing treatments like IVF. The platform combines educational content, community support, and access to expert consultations through an online hub, helping users ask questions about treatments, side effects, funding, and insurance, and find guidance on care and wellness products. It differentiates itself by merging information, peer support, and expert access in one ecosystem, plus tools to research funding and coverage and connections to clinics and providers. The goal is to empower people on their fertility journey to understand options, connect with professionals, and make informed decisions for their reproductive health.

The round, which brought Cofertility's total funding to $16m, was co-led by Next Ventures and Offline Ventures with participation from Initialized Capital and Gaingels.
Cofertility raises $7M Series A to make egg freezing accessible.
Cofertility, founded by Lauren Makler and Halle Tecco, offers women free egg freezing in exchange for donating half of the retrieved eggs to those unable to conceive. The startup raised $7.25 million in a Series A round, bringing total funding to $16 million. Cofertility's "Split" program provides eggs at scale, with hundreds of diverse donors available. Intended parents cover retrieval costs and a coordination fee, reducing their expenses as they don't compensate the donor.
