Cota Robotics delivers turnkey retail automation through a Robotics-as-a-Service model, focusing on overnight shelf replenishment and other store tasks. It uses a hardware-agnostic system with an operational layer that combines teleoperation, fleet logistics, and an AI platform trained on real-world data; when a robot can’t complete a task, a human operator in a control room finishes it. Unlike hardware sellers, Cota charges a recurring hourly service and continuously integrates the most suitable robots as tech evolves. Its goal is to help retailers operate more during off-hours, improve efficiency and inventory accuracy, starting in groceries and expanding into broader retail logistics, including pilots in Finland.
