Tiffany calls on Democrat candidates to refuse wisdem party support until $750,000 Hoffman donation is returned. By Tom Tiffany - Jul 16th, 2026 04:36 pm WAUSAU, WI - Today, Tom Tiffany, candidate for governor of Wisconsin, called on every Democrat running for governor to denounce the $750,000 the Democratic Party of Wisconsin accepted from Epstein Island visitor Reid Hoffman in April. Tiffany also called on each candidate to pledge not to accept financial support from the party unless it returns the money and refuses any future contributions from Hoffman. Wisconsin Democrats have been bankrolled for years by Reid Hoffman, who remained connected to Jeffrey Epstein after he was a convicted sex offender and even traveled to his island. According to Wisconsin campaign finance records, the Democratic Party of Wisconsin has received more than $15 million from LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman since 2019, including $100,000 in December and another $750,000 in April. Mr. Hoffman is the party's largest single donor. "In February, I called on the Wisconsin Democratic Party leaders to return the money they received from Epstein Island visitor Reid Hoffman. Instead, they doubled down by accepting another $750,000 from him," Tiffany said. "Will Francesca Hong, Mandela Barnes, and the other Democrat candidates pledge not to benefit from this Epstein-tainted money, or will they continue standing with a party that keeps accepting donations from a confirmed Epstein Island visitor who also sent Jeffrey Epstein gifts?" With the release of the recent documents, which Congressman Tom Tiffany voted to make public, the New York Post reports that newly uncovered emails show Reid Hoffman discussing visits to Jeffrey Epstein's private island, his New Mexico ranch, and his New York apartment. Documents also show that Hoffman, who visited Jeffrey Epstein's island in 2014, sent Epstein a statue, writing that it was "something that may strike your funny bone for the island." He also arranged to send Epstein ice cream "for the girls." NOTE: This press release was submitted to Urban Milwaukee and was not written by an Urban Milwaukee writer. Democratic Party of Wisconsin announces Hannah Mullen as Executive Director. Wisconsin concert tickets By Democratic Party of Wisconsin - Oct 16th, 2025 08:05 am MADISON, Wis. - Today, Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Devin Remiker announced Hannah Mullen would be the new Executive Director. Mullen, who has been with the WisDems since 2017, most recently served as the Party's Deputy Executive Director. Upon making the announcement, Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Devin Remiker issued the following statement: "One of the first people I got to work with when I first joined the party in 2018 was Hannah Mullen, whose wealth of knowledge, experience, and track record of success make her the best person to step into this role to lead our work and shared mission. She has been instrumental in building our state party, and I am ecstatic that she will be continuing that work in an even bigger role. "Hannah has proved herself time and again. Whether it was her previous work as a temporary convention hire in 2017, helping lead our Save the Veto program that prevented Republicans gaining a supermajority, securing a liberal State Supreme Court majority, bringing us to the cusp of winning majorities in both state houses, and everything else she accomplished as our Deputy Executive Director, Hannah has given me all the confidence in the world as our next Executive Director. "We are incredibly grateful for Sarah's leadership and commitment to growing our party, which she did with incredible results as our Executive Director, and before that, as our Deputy Executive Director. While it is hard to say goodbye to someone who set the stage for our future success, we are grateful that Sarah will continue to work with our party as a Senior Advisor. "We have shown the country what a state party can do to help win elections up and down the ticket. Our year-round coordinated campaign, reinforced with organizing, messaging, and fundraising, is a political force that Sarah helped grow, and I know that Hannah will continue that work, help us win elections up and down the ballot, and give Wisconsinites the representation they deserve."
