EBANX CEO João Del Valle said the strategy aligns global operations with localised expertise to help businesses scale in emerging markets.
Global merchants adding Pix to their checkout in Brazil see revenue increase by up to 37% and reach 25% more customers within six months, according to EBANX data. The payment technology company has processed Pix payments for more than one-third of the system's users as of May. Pix is projected to move $187.3 billion in Brazilian e-commerce by year-end, capturing 44% of online purchases and surpassing credit cards' 40% share. By 2028, Pix's share is expected to reach 50%, processing $258.2 billion. Real-time confirmation, shorter settlement cycles, high approval rates, and no chargebacks drive the revenue growth. EBANX handles Pix payments for American merchants including Amazon Prime and Crunchyroll. The company processes 38% of all Pix Automático transactions, with 64% of users being first-time customers.
