Egra builds EEG foundation models to advance brain-signal analysis. It creates large pre-trained models that learn from electroencephalogram (EEG) data, enabling downstream tasks such as decoding and classification for neuroscience research and brain-computer interface applications. How it works: data from EEG studies is used to train foundational models that capture patterns in brain activity, which can then be fine-tuned for specific tasks. How it differs: focused specifically on EEG data and foundation-model infrastructure, rather than general AI or broad healthcare AI, aiming to provide reusable, scalable models for the EEG field. Goal: accelerate EEG research and enable new brain-signal applications by supplying pre-trained models and related tooling, while growing the team through hiring.
