Empo Health provides a DFU management system that combines an in-home imaging scale (Empo Footprint) with a digital health portal (Empo Remote Health Link) for remote foot-care monitoring. Patients at high risk use the in-home device to capture foot images and data, which clinicians review via the portal to detect problems early and intervene. This end-to-end approach blends physical at-home tools with connected software to enable remote monitoring, unlike providers that rely mostly on clinic-based care. The goal is to prevent ulcers from worsening, reduce amputations, and lower healthcare costs by catching issues early and coordinating care among patients, clinicians, and payors.
