Two more Endeavour marketing leaders exit amid restructure.

Two more Endeavour marketing leaders exit amid restructure. August 5, 2026 11:55 Two more senior marketers have exited Endeavour Group as the Dan Murphy's owner moves ahead with its $100 million cost-savings restructure, which is reshaping its customer and marketing functions. Lisa Casey, general manager of marketing for Dan Murphy's, and Chris Raimondi, Endeavour Group's general manager of customer engagement, have departed the ASX-listed company, following the earlier exit of chief marketing officer Josie Brown. The moves come as Endeavour restructures its customer and marketing functions under recently appointed chief customer officer Catriona Larritt and also sees Rebel Sport's Rosemary Martin appointed to an expanded role of Dan Murphy's general manager of marketing and enterprise capabilities. In a statement to Mumbrella, an Endeavour Group spokesperson said the restructure was designed to "create centralised accountability for our business-wide marketing functions". "As part of our strategy refresh, we have refined the operating model within our customer function to put the customer at the centre of every decision we make," the spokesperson said. 'This change creates centralised accountability for its business-wide marketing functions, ensuring Media Words maintain a strict focus on its customers and what matters most to them." Martin joins Endeavour from Super Retail Group, where she was most recently general manager of eCommerce and marketing for Rebel. She previously served as chief customer officer at Flybuys. The latest departures follow a broader stream of marketing leadership changes at Endeavour, including the exits of head of brand marketing An Le and general manager of marketing and creative Katie Dally. The restructure comes as Endeavour targets $100 million in cost savings acrpss the business, with the company reviewing headcount, procurement and support functions as newly appointed CEO Jayne Hrdlicka looks to improve profitability and returns. Endeavour was spun out of Woolworths in 2021 and operates about 350 hotels and 1,700 bottle shops and wineries. The business has also undergone agency changes, recently moving its creative account from BMF to Thinkerbell. According to Endeavour's preliminary FY26 results, released on 5 August, sales revenue increased 1.3% to $12.2 billion, while underlying EBIT declined 8% to $845 million, down from $926 million. Statutory profit after tax fell 14%, largely due to $372 million in write-downs. Sales up, profits down as Endeavour flags $372m in cost write-downs.

Sales up, profits down as Endeavour flags $372m in cost write-downs. Aug. 5, 2026 By Cody Profaca Endeavour Group has posted a 1.3 per cent increase in net sales over the past 12 months despite net profits declining 8.75 per cent. The results, announced in the Group's preliminary fiscal year 2026 figures on Wednesday, reflect ongoing momentum for Endeavour's ALH Hotels division and more-subdued growth for its BWS and Dan Murphy's banners. Revenue across Retail grew 0.7 per cent revenue to $10,016 million, with total Group sales bolstered by 4.3 per cent growth for Hotels, bringing total sales for the 52 weeks ended 28 June to $12,212 million. A similar story emerged in the Group's net profits, with Retail declining from $563 million to $464 million, and Hotels rising from $444 million to $462 million. Profits across the rest of Endeavour's operations, classed as Other, remained flat at $81 million. The above are underlying figures and exclude the impact of the four significant asset write-downs announced as part of new CEO Jayne Hrdlicka's restructure roadmap. These write-downs total $372 million pre-tax, with the largest being the non-cash portfolio rationalisation and asset impairment. Within this is $78 million written-down due to the streamlining of Pinnacle, $67 million for the impairment of 25 hotels, $45 million for the impairment of 75 stores, and $4 million for the range rationalisation. Endeavour Group has also registered a $40 mainly cash cost related to the approaching end of its supply chain services contract with Woolworths Group for warehouse operations at the MLDC in September 2028. A further $58 million has been written-down as part of its ongoing restructuring and strategy review, and $80 million related to the ending of legacy technology systems. Jayne Hrdlicka said: "After a comprehensive review of our portfolio, we have reassessed the carrying value of some of our assets including legacy technology systems, wineries and vineyards and a small number of Retail stores and Hotels. Following the reset of our asset base and simplification of our portfolio we are now well placed to focus our capital and resources on maximising the value of our core businesses through our multi-year business transformation strategy." The preliminary results are not final and remain subject to finalisation and the audit process. Drinks Trade will share more information about Endeavour's final audited results and the Group's trading performance following the Group's F26 full-year results presentation on 24 August. BWS pens retail media partnership with News Corp subsidiary.

BWS pens retail media partnership with News Corp subsidiary. News Corp Australia's marketing division, Suddenly, has launched a retail media agency and signed its first partnership with beverage retailer BWS. The deal will see Suddenly manage BWS's in-store screen network across Australia, led by the newly-appointed retail media director, Jennifer Stokes. "As brands build out owned media networks, they need partners who understand both content and commerce," said News Corp Australia MD of commercial content, Mike Connaghan. "We know how to create compelling content, and we know how to monetise it at scale. The BWS partnership is a natural fit - they're building a media business, and that's what we do best." BWS already operates more than 300 screens across its national retail network. The Endeavour Group-owned retailer's portfolio has a significant presence in regional Australia, something which Suddenly sees as a unique opportunity. "Working with Suddenly brings together their content expertise and commercial capability with our scale and customer reach," said Endeavour Group's chief customer officer, Catriona Larritt. "This collaboration will help us unlock new value for non-endemic brands while enhancing the in-store experience for our customers." Suddenly said that it is continuing ot build its portfolio of partnerships, with more announcements expected soon. Its GM, Marie Joyce, said it plans to become a "full-funnel strategic partner" for brands.
