Endra has launched Power Studio, an agentic platform for electrical engineering, and acquired Swiss AI company Planlabs to expand into mechanical engineering. Power Studio consolidates electrical design, calculations, simulation and documentation into one system, with AI agents handling delegated tasks whilst engineers retain oversight. The platform can complete electrical design for a 500,000-square-foot commercial building in under a day, compared with approximately two months using traditional methods. It includes features for applying engineering standards, AI agents for routing and placement, and a physics engine for code compliance checking. The Planlabs acquisition extends Endra's capabilities into mechanical engineering. Founded in Switzerland in 2024, Planlabs' five-person team will join Endra. The company plans to introduce a plumbing module in 2027. The developments follow a $50 million Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz.

Stockholm-based AI company Endra has expanded into the US and UK, opening offices in New York, San Francisco, and London. The expansion follows a $50 million Series A round led by Andreessen Horowitz earlier this year. Endra's platform automates MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) engineering design for buildings. The system integrates with BIM tools like Revit and can complete electrical designs for large commercial buildings in under a day—work that traditionally takes two months. The company targets engineering consultancies facing capacity constraints and engineer shortages as demand grows for data centres and net-zero infrastructure. Co-founder Anton Juric is leading US market expansion, whilst the London office serves European and Middle Eastern customers. Endra plans to grow to 100 employees globally over the next 12 months and will unveil its electrical module at an event in Las Vegas this September.
