Clayton State Career Services partnership with Enterprise Mobility drives internships and careers forward.

Clayton State Career Services partnership with Enterprise Mobility drives internships and careers forward. (April 7, 2026) - According to Neci Sampleton, Talent Acquisitions Manager, with Enterprise Mobility, her company offers internship opportunities for Clayton State University students at several locations across the Atlanta metro area, as well as the Stockbridge, Morrow, Brookhaven, and Decatur areas. In terms of advice for Clayton State students looking to build their resume, Sampleton suggests "Try to diversify your experience, whether that is an opportunity to work with an organization, to do an internship, get an on-campus job, or just be involved in outside organizations, take advantage of those opportunities." She also emphasizes that students should "build their skills in customer service, communication, and leadership. If there's an opportunity for you to get some sales experience, that's always great, working in a retail environment." According to Sampleton, "The main position we staff for is our Sales Management Trainee Internship. We offer it three times a year: spring, fall, and summer. Fall and spring are part-time for 20 to 25 hours a week, and the schedule is flexible with their school schedule. In the summer, the positions are 40 hours a week." "Students from Clayton State who apply for internships tend to be marketing, business administration, and supply chain management majors, but we hire all majors," said Sampleton. "We understand that no matter what your major is, you may have the skills and abilities that you can bring to the table based on previous experience." Asked why Enterprise Mobility works closely with Clayton State Career Services, Sampleton said Clayton State students seeking internships "have a strong work ethic. They understand the importance of a great customer experience. They communicate effectively and take initiative, but I think most importantly, they look at this as an opportunity to build a career." Ayana Abramson is a senior at Clayton State University studying Marketing and is currently interning at Enterprise. Abramson shared that "I had prior sales experience, but I feel that at Enterprise, there's kind of a competitive environment that I really enjoy. I love being able to keep track of my success in this role by monitoring the metrics and seeing the impact I have on the business." As an intern at Enterprise, Abramson said she "typically works on car returns. Afterward, I like to confirm appointments and talk to and get feedback from my manager, because my goal is just to do the best work." She added that she really enjoys interacting with customers, making sure to provide good customer service." Abramson's advice for Clayton State students looking to land an internship is straightforward. She credits her ability to do well on an interview and obtain her internship with Enterprise to her research and pre-interview practice and preparation. She also shares that "Clayton State Career Services is great, and I go to them for everything. Interview skills, resume development, and tips for developing cover letters." For Clayton State students who have completed an internship and graduated, Enterprise offers more training opportunities to help develop new employees. Sampleton says, "If you're already a management trainee, we want to get you in a position where you can lead and learn to develop your own team while running a business." She added that there are many opportunities to learn and grow with Enterprise, "One of the best things about this company is that it's so robust and we promote from within. You can work your way up. So, whether you start as an intern, a management trainee, or an entry-level position, this is truly an opportunity to build a career."

Enterprise Mobility Foundation gifts $1.5 million to Operation Food Search

Enterprise Mobility Foundation gifts $1.5 million to Operation Food Search. Operation Food Search (OFS) is pleased to announce a $1.5 million gift from the Enterprise Mobility Foundation to help support the OFS Healthy Food, Healthy Community Renovation Project. The funds were used as a challenge grant to encourage other donors to participate in the campaign, which funded the renovation of OFS's headquarters. It is one of the largest gifts in the nonprofit's history. "Enterprise Mobility Foundation is a dedicated, strategic partner. We started our conversation with their leadership two years ago, and they were focused on using their gift as a tool to help us reach our goals," said OFS Chief Development Officer Ellen Reed-Fox, CFRE. "The end of a campaign can be a challenging time. Most of the bigger gifts have been received, and an organization needs to inspire donors to help them get across the finish line. Structuring the Enterprise Mobility Foundation donation as a challenge grant motivated donors and friends who wanted to make a difference; it allowed them to double their impact." Matching funds received from other donors went directly to the renovation project, while Enterprise Mobility Foundation's funds went into an endowment fund that will strengthen the organization for years to come. "We are thankful for the vision of Enterprise Mobility leaders, including OFS Board member Gordon Reel, and the Enterprise Mobility Foundation. They have made investments in OFS during some of the most critical times in our organization's evolution," said Kristen Wild, OFS President & CEO. "This gift will help us go beyond providing immediate food assistance, working to address the underlying causes of hunger in the St. Louis community." The Healthy Food, Healthy Community campaign centered around renovation of the OFS facility in Overland, where they lead the effort to feed over 200,000 food insecure people each month across the region. The renovation comes at a crucial time; many local pantries have seen a 20-30% increase in the need for food. "Knowing that food is a fundamental human need, hunger has always been a core social issue and focus of giving for Enterprise Mobility," said Carolyn Kindle, president of the Enterprise Mobility Foundation. "The opportunity to support OFS ensured we could both lean into an important Enterprise Mobility value - to strengthen our communities one neighborhood at a time - as well as help support the growing need for food assistance locally in St. Louis."
