Overview

Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin is a nonprofit hunger-relief network operating the largest food-bank system in 35 counties, distributing millions of pounds of food through about 600 partner agencies. It sources food from retailers, wholesalers, growers, and donors, then sorts, stores, and distributes it via a statewide network and programs like NourishRx (medically-tailored groceries), Dairyland Delivery (fresh dairy), Tribal Elder Food Box, FarmLink, and mobile pantries. It differentiates itself by being the region’s largest hunger-relief network within the Feeding America system and by offering a broad mix of nutrition- and community-focused programs that address health, indigenous food needs, and local farm-to-pantry connections. Its goal is to reduce hunger and food insecurity in Eastern Wisconsin by increasing access to nutritious foods and supporting sustainable local food systems.
