Fruitist selected as A Good Housekeeping 2026 Snack Awards winner.

Fruitist selected as A Good Housekeeping 2026 Snack Awards winner. Fruitist's Jumbo Blueberry Snack Cups are named among Good Housekeeping's 2026 Snack Awards The premium superfruit brand is recognized for redefining healthy snacking with grab-and-go jumbo blueberries. Los Angeles, CA - WEBWIRE - Tuesday, June 16, 2026 Fruitist, the global superfruit brand inspiring the world to snack healthier, today announced that its Jumbo Blueberry Snack Cups were named a winner in Good Housekeeping's 2026 Snack Awards. The full list of awards can be found on goodhousekeeping.com/snacks2026. Designed to make fresh fruit as effortless and craveable as packaged snacks, Fruitist's grab-and-go Jumbo Snack Cups deliver bold flavor, satisfying crunch, and freshness in a convenient format built for modern consumers. The portable 4-ounce cups are designed for lunchboxes, work breaks, gym bags, and on-the-go snacking moments, helping make healthy snacking more accessible and appealing throughout the day. "We've always believed fresh fruit deserved a bigger role in everyday snacking," said Steve Magami, Co-founder and CEO of Fruitist. "For too long, consumers have accepted inconsistency from produce, especially berries. Our goal has been to create a snack experience people genuinely crave, that delivers the same great taste and quality every time they open a clamshell." To find the best snacks on the market, the Good Housekeeping Institute's registered dietitians and culinary experts rigorously analyzed ingredient lists, nutrition facts labels, packaging claims, and flavor profiles of hundreds of submissions. More than 2,000 taste testers also sampled products to determine which snacks stood out in real-world settings. Winners were selected based on innovations in the food space that taste great and meet nutritional criteria, including caps on calories, sugar, and sodium per serving. Fruitist's Jumbo blueberries are grown across the world's best microclimates and supported by advanced technology throughout the company's vertically integrated supply chain, allowing the brand to deliver premium-quality berries 52 weeks a year. Today, Fruitist products are available in more than 12,500 stores across the U.S. and over 40 countries globally. The recognition comes as fresh food continues to gain momentum among those seeking healthier snack options, as consumers actively seek out Fruitist berries for their consistent quality, premium flavor, and convenient packaging. Fruitist secures $150 million investment for global berry expansion amid GLP-1 drug trend

Fruitist secures $150 million investment for global berry expansion amid GLP-1 drug trend. Leading jumbo blueberry distributor Fruitist raised $150 million in equity financing, backed primarily by JP Morgan Asset Management. The berry-specialized company has experienced significant growth over the past year and is now preparing for an accelerated global expansion, supported by investor confidence. The vertically integrated company has been making waves with its rebranded approach to blueberries. The firm's strategy is founded in secured year-round supply through a diversified sourcing program that taps growers in Peru, Chile, Mexico, India, Morocco, China, and the United States. The company has bet big on a refreshing look and marketing strategy, but above all, on convenience. Its portfolio includes an array of snack-sized formats featuring premium and jumbo blueberries, as well as blackberries, raspberries, and cherries. The strategy has paid off, as consumers have responded positively, especially in the context of the rise of GLP-1 weight loss drugs. The semaglutide trend, led by names such as Ozempic, Mountjaro, and Wegovy, has revolutionized eating behavior, placing greater emphasis on healthy, nutrient-packed snacks and practicality. "Our data show that consumers using GLP-1 treatments increase their berry purchases after starting the medication," said Fruistist founder and CEO, Steve Magami, to AgFunderNews. The executive explained to the news outlet that the firm is not only shifting market share between suppliers at retail, but is actually generating new purchases. Invoking investor confidence for Fruitist. The market shift, plus Fruitist's ability to stand out in a category where premium is drawing a clear divide in profits, has not gone unnoticed. In a statement to AgFunderNews, Brad Demong, managing director at JP Morgan Asset Management, said they recognized the firm's "exceptional results," making it a sound move for its investment strategy. "We believe that Fruitist, with control of its value chain, significant organic growth opportunity ahead, and positioning as a driving force of premiumization of berries and the better-for-you category, will realize durable expansion," Demong said. *All images courtesy of Fruitist
