Fulcrum launches native AI platform. Manufacturing software platform Fulcrum has launched its native AI platform, Archie, designed to let shop owners and production managers ask questions, build custom apps, and deploy autonomous agents from inside Fulcrum. The Archie Chat feature reads live Fulcrum data and answers directly. Users can ask which jobs are at risk this week, what a customer's true cost history looks like, and which vendors keep missing dates, or they can prompt it to help them take actions such as changing a due date, leaving a note on a job, or updating a record. In beta, the Archie Build feature lets users describe the dashboard or tool they need, and it builds a functional app on their live Fulcrum data in minutes. Custom apps publish to a dedicated space where employees can open and run them. Archie Agents, releasing soon, deploy custom agents to handle recurring work on their own, autonomously scheduling and completing tasks. Examples include reorder check-ins, status alerts, and follow-up drafts. The user sets the rules for how these agents work.

Quality management product designed for shops in aerospace, defense. Fulcrum has launched Control, a product to help CNC and sheet metal fabrication shops, especially those in aerospace and defense, coordinate and execute quality management to meet AS9100D and ISO 9001 requirements. According to the company, the product makes quality workflows simpler and coordination tighter within shops and for their customers. Built on AI models, the product gives shops command over how drawings are annotated and shared. Users can define how prints are autobubbled, execute quality plans, and send reports directly to customers while reducing manual data entry.
