Fulcrum receives €1M from Microsoft

Fulcrum, a European cloud initiative, has received €1 million from Microsoft. This funding comes from an innovation fund established as part of a settlement with Microsoft after CISPE complained about high Microsoft software costs on competing cloud platforms. Led by Opiquad, Fulcrum aims to enable smaller European cloud providers to pool their infrastructure, offering a competitive alternative.
