This funding comes from an innovation fund established as part of a settlement with Microsoft after CISPE complained about high Microsoft software costs on competing cloud platforms. Led by Opiquad, Fulcrum aims to enable smaller European cloud providers to pool their infrastructure, offering a competitive alternative. The first aggregated services are expected by July 2025, promoting European cloud sovereignty.
Census, a San Francisco-based data activation and reverse ETL platform provider, has acquired Fulcrum, an AI-led growth platform for business teams. The deal's amount was not disclosed.
