Quality management product designed for shops in aerospace, defense. Fulcrum has launched Control, a product to help CNC and sheet metal fabrication shops, especially those in aerospace and defense, coordinate and execute quality management to meet AS9100D and ISO 9001 requirements. According to the company, the product makes quality workflows simpler and coordination tighter within shops and for their customers. Built on AI models, the product gives shops command over how drawings are annotated and shared. Users can define how prints are autobubbled, execute quality plans, and send reports directly to customers while reducing manual data entry.
Fulcrum, a European cloud initiative, has received €1 million from Microsoft. This funding comes from an innovation fund established as part of a settlement with Microsoft after CISPE complained about high Microsoft software costs on competing cloud platforms. Led by Opiquad, Fulcrum aims to enable smaller European cloud providers to pool their infrastructure, offering a competitive alternative. The first aggregated services are expected by July 2025, promoting European cloud sovereignty.
Census, a San Francisco-based data activation and reverse ETL platform provider, has acquired Fulcrum, an AI-led growth platform for business teams. The deal's amount was not disclosed. This acquisition will enhance Census's AI-led customer segmentation, personalization, and data modeling capabilities. Census serves enterprises like HubSpot, Activision, and Canva, helping them with data-driven operations and reducing customer acquisition costs.
