HEN Technologies (HEN Nozzles Inc.) designs and manufactures high-performance fire hose nozzles for firefighting. Its core products are engineered to deliver advanced stream technology that improves fire suppression efficiency and firefighter safety. A flagship offering is the world’s first combination smoothbore nozzle with a Blade pattern, which creates a solid linear stream that enhances cooling, gas contraction, and coverage. The nozzles are built for durability in extreme conditions, prioritizing maximum water flow while minimizing nozzle reaction for the operator. The company serves fire departments and professionals through direct sales and partners such as Dinges Fire Company and Rocky Mountain Phoenix, emphasizing the science and engineering behind its products. Overall, the goal is to provide advanced, scientifically backed firefighting tools that increase water efficiency and safety in fire suppression.

Sunny Sethi's HEN Technologies has developed fire nozzles that increase suppression rates by up to 300% whilst conserving 67% of water. But the real value lies in the data the company is collecting—real-world physics information that could prove invaluable for AI world models. Founded in 2020 after California wildfires threatened Sethi's family, HEN has expanded beyond nozzles to monitors, valves and smart sprinklers. Each device contains custom circuit boards with sensors, creating a connected system that tracks water usage, pressure and conditions in real time. Revenue has surged from $200,000 in 2023 to a projected $20 million this year, with 1,500 fire department customers across 22 countries. Last month, HEN closed a $20 million Series A round led by O'Neil Strategic Capital, bringing total funding above $30 million.

HEN Technologies raises $22M in equity and debt funding. Hen Technologies, a Hayward, Calif.-based intelligent fire suppression company, closed a $20m Series A financing round, along with $2m in venture debt. The round was led by O'Neil Strategic Capital with participation from NSFO, Tanas Capital and z21 Ventures. Silicon Valley Bank provided the venture debt. The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the deployment of Fluid-IQ, its predictive AI platform built on advanced fluid dynamics hardware. To date, the company has raised over $30m. Led by Dr. Sunny Sethi, CEO, and Akshay Thakor, COO, Hen Technologies is a deeptech company building an end-to-end intelligent fire suppression ecosystem, powered by AI, IoT and advanced fluid dynamics. Through its patented Fluid-IQ(TM) analytics platform and IoT-enabled nozzles, valves and pump controls, Hen aims to transform fire response from a reactive process into a predictive, adaptive network. Its technology has been adopted by over 1,000 organizations worldwide, including CAL FIRE, the U.S. military and leading international fire agencies. Hen's footprint now includes over 100 distributors operating in 20 countries. The company is scaling a team of more than 100 product demonstration specialists to provide customers with direct, hands-on evaluation of its technology.
HEN Technologies has raised $22 million—$20 million in Series A funding and $2 million in venture debt—bringing its total funding to over $30 million. The oversubscribed round will accelerate deployment of Fluid-IQ, the company's predictive AI platform for intelligent fire suppression built on advanced fluid dynamics hardware. The global fire defence technology company is developing what it describes as an operating system for the industry, combining AI with specialised hardware to enhance fire suppression capabilities.
Firefighting innovation company HEN Nozzles announced it raised $8 million in seed funding to accelerate its fluidics technology, which extinguishes fires 300% faster while using 67% less water.
