HackerEarth

HackerEarth

SaaS platform for technical hiring

Overview

HackerEarth provides a SaaS platform for technical talent assessment and management. It helps organizations hire developers through automated coding tests, remote video interviewing with real-time coding and diagrams, and a large question library (over 22,000 questions across 1,000+ skills). It also supports innovation management via Hackathons (HackerEarth Sprint) and tickets for crowd-sourced ideas. Its platform integrates with ATS like Workable and Greenhouse and leverages a community of over 4 million developers to source candidates and offer practice and competition opportunities. The difference from competitors lies in its combination of a large developer community, extensive assessment content, ISO-certified tooling, and dual focus on recruitment and internal/external innovation programs. The goal is to streamline technical hiring and foster ongoing innovation by connecting talent with opportunities and making candidate evaluation and sourcing more efficient.

HackerEarth launches OnScreen AI interview tool with 24/7 availability and candidate verification

HackerEarth has launched OnScreen, an AI-powered interview tool that conducts technical interviews 24/7 using lifelike avatars with integrated identity verification and proctoring. The platform is valued at $1.45 billion following a recent funding round. OnScreen addresses scheduling friction in technical hiring by enabling immediate candidate interviews regardless of time zones. One enterprise customer screened over 2,000 candidates in a single weekend using the tool. The platform combines three capabilities: dynamic, role-calibrated technical interviews that adapt to candidate responses; enterprise-grade proctoring; and KYC-level identity verification to prevent proxy candidates. The tool integrates with HackerEarth's existing assessment platform, which serves over 10 million developers and is used by companies including Google, Amazon and Microsoft. OnScreen is now available for enterprise customers.
