Hanwha Vision launches BLAZE hybrid AI video management system for multi-site surveillance

Hanwha Vision has launched BLAZE VMS, a hybrid video management system combining on-premises performance with cloud-based federation for multi-site surveillance management. The platform integrates with Hanwha Vision cameras and devices, offering automated detection and bulk configuration to reduce setup time. BLAZE features AI-powered investigation tools, including Similarity Search for tracking individuals across cameras and Semantic Search using natural language queries. The system enables operators to search using phrases like "a person with a face cover and a backpack in the office lobby" rather than predefined attributes. The platform's clustered architecture scales from single to multi-site deployments whilst maintaining performance. Cloud federation allows centralised user management and secure remote access without VPNs. Purpose-built appliances will be available pre-licensed for simplified deployment.
