Texas Roadhouse raises record $1.1M for tinnitus research and awareness in single-day fundraiser

Texas Roadhouse, Bubba's 33 and Jaggers restaurants raised a record $1.1 million for the American Tinnitus Association during their fifth annual dine-to-donate fundraiser on 2 February. The restaurants donated 100% of profits from dine-in and takeaway orders, surpassing last year's record of $980,000. The event launched Tinnitus Awareness Week 2026 and honoured Texas Roadhouse founder Kent Taylor, who struggled with severe tinnitus. Since 2021, the partnership has generated $4.7 million for the association. The funds will support the association's research grants programme, patient support services and new educational programmes for healthcare providers. More than 50 million Americans live with tinnitus, a condition characterised by ringing or buzzing in the ears, with approximately 20% finding it significantly disruptive.
