LOFT Community Services

LOFT Community Services

Supports housing and mental health services

Overview

LOFT Community Services provides housing and support for people facing mental and physical health challenges, addiction, cognitive impairment, and homelessness. It offers safe, stable housing along with practical help to regain dignity and independence. The organization runs a range of services, including supportive housing, outreach via York Region/South Simcoe’s only homeless street outreach van, and programs for recovery and integration. Unlike many peers, LOFT is one of Ontario’s largest mental health providers and the biggest housing and outreach operator in its region, enabling it to serve about 4,000 people a year with a proactive, diverse set of programs. LOFT’s goal is to reduce homelessness and empower clients to take control of their lives through recovery, independence, and sustained stability.
