LARUS has launched a first-party IPv4 leasing platform built around what it describes as a court-ordered shareholder-position continuity structure. The UK-based company aims to address registry-layer instability, audit uncertainty and policy shifts affecting operators across the global Regional Internet Registry environment. The platform operates through a dual structure: Cloud Innovation maintains the registry-side shareholder-position framework, whilst LARUS handles commercial leasing, routing coordination and customer operations. Customers lease directly from the platform rather than through intermediary brokers. LARUS states its architecture is supported by a court-ordered statutory shareholder-position framework under Mauritius company law. The Supreme Court of Mauritius ordered Cloud Innovation's entry into AFRINIC's statutory register framework. The platform targets hosting providers, cloud operators, ISPs and enterprise network operators seeking long-term IPv4 continuity arrangements.
Larus Technologies has been awarded an $8.3 million contract by Canada's Department of National Defence to advance AI-powered tactical intelligence through its MAABI platform. The solution uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to automate analysis of complex data sets and generate predictive insights for military planning. MAABI supports Intelligence Preparation of the Battlespace and Operational Planning Process by analysing sensor inputs, maps and geospatial intelligence to identify patterns in adversary movements. The system suggests courses of action based on real-time intelligence and evaluates them through automated wargaming simulations. The contract falls under the IDEaS programme, part of Canada's effort to accelerate innovation in strategic sectors. Larus has already conducted experimental training exercises and will customise the software for Canadian Armed Forces operators before testing in upcoming military exercises.
OTTAWA, ON-December 10, 2024, Larus Technologies today announces the appointment of Alex Hayman as Vice President, Business Development.
