Overview

Latino Network provides education and empowerment programs for the Latino community in Multnomah County. It runs activities that boost early literacy, involve parents, support high school students, and work with youth at risk, including those involved with gangs or adjudicated, while building leadership for youth and adults. Programs are grounded in Latino culture and practices and use community-led, collaborative approaches to help families participate in decisions that affect their lives. The goal is to lift up youth and families so they achieve educational and life success, improve community livability, promote civic participation, and advance social equity.

The company plans to occupy the new space at 312 Se 165th Ave in Portland, on or about February 1, 2024. According to the company website Latino Network was founded in 1996 by community leaders who grew concerned about the lack of adequate resources to meet the needs of the growing Latino community. Since that time, we have evolved to become an organization that also encompasses transformational programs aimed at educating and empowering Multnomah County Latinos. Low achievement scores, youth violence and high drop out rates undermine the Latino communitys potential
