Lincoln International trades at 3.9x P/E with DCF suggesting 79% upside potential

Lincoln International's shares closed at $23.50, down 2.33%, prompting investors to reassess the advisory firm's valuation. The stock trades at a price-to-earnings ratio of 3.9x, significantly below the US Capital Markets industry average of 40.1x and peer average of 16x. Despite generating $191.47 million in net income, the low P/E suggests investors remain cautious about earnings durability. However, a discounted cash flow analysis estimates future value at $111.33 per share, implying the market is heavily discounting the stock by approximately 79%. The year-to-date share price return stands at 4.35%, indicating modest momentum. Key risks include reliance on transaction-driven advisory fees and sensitivity to funding conditions across private equity and institutional investor clients.
