Overview

Montana Precision Products (MPP) manufactures high-precision aerospace and commercial components in Butte, Montana, including tube and duct assemblies, small structural castings, and flex joints. It uses investment casting (lost-wax) to create complex metal parts by building a ceramic shell around a wax pattern and pouring molten metal, resulting in parts that handle heat and vibrations. The company differentiates itself through its GE Aerospace–SeaCast joint-venture heritage, AS9100 certification, and ongoing capacity investments such as a 2022 expansion and 2025 modernization funded by GE Aerospace. Its goal is to reliably supply the aerospace supply chain with complex, quality parts and to expand manufacturing capabilities to meet rising demand.
