N3XT partners with hong kong-based Liminal Prime to integrate its programmable USD infrastructure for Institutional Markets and expand its global reach.

N3XT partners with hong kong-based Liminal Prime to integrate its programmable USD infrastructure for Institutional Markets and expand its global reach. Liminal Prime has announced it will embed N3XT's programmable USD banking infrastructure directly into its prime services platform, giving licensed institutional clients continuous control over liquidity, settlement, and capital mobility, without the restrictions of traditional banking hours. Institutional digital asset markets demand trusted, transparent, and timely access to capital; however, traditional prime services have failed to meet this 24/7 business reality. N3XT changes that and this integration now connects N3XT's always-on USD rails to Liminal Prime's prime stack, allowing licensed trading firms, asset managers, and financial institutions to move capital, manage liquidity, and act on settlement instructions outside conventional banking windows. For institutions operating across time zones in markets that never close, the operational difference is real - capital that previously sat idle overnight or across weekends can now be deployed continuously. "The next generation of prime services must be always-on," said Clarence Leong, Senior Manager Institutional Markets, Liminal Prime. "By embedding N3XT's programmable USD infrastructure into Liminal Prime, we are giving licensed institutional clients greater control over liquidity, settlement, and capital mobility 24/7. This is how we deliver the institutional experience." The integration is part of Liminal Prime's broader build-out of infrastructure purpose-built for digital asset markets, combining institutional-grade key management, trading infrastructure, and programmable USD banking in a single operational layer. "At N3XT, we believe money should move across platforms and between counterparties as seamlessly, transparently, and cost-efficiently as information," said Jeffrey Wallis, CEO of N3XT. "This is the only way to future-proof and support business innovation. Empowering forward-thinking clients like Liminal with continuous dollar settlement is fundamental to realizing that vision and enabling true 24/7 institutional liquidity." Crypto markets run 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The legacy infrastructure supporting them does not. That gap has become a structural constraint as institutional participation in digital assets grows. Continuous settlement and programmable banking capabilities help institutions reduce that friction, improve capital efficiency, and act on market opportunities when they arise, not when clearing windows allow. Liminal Prime will continue expanding through strategic technology integrations focused on settlement efficiency, liquidity management, and operational resilience as the market matures. Liminal Prime's services are offered in accordance with, and only where permitted by, applicable law and regulation in each market.

N3XT launches USD deposit token for instant global B2B payments beyond bank walls

N3XT, a blockchain-powered narrow bank based in Cheyenne, Wyoming, is expanding access to its N3XT Digital Dollar (NDD) beyond its own client base. The deposit token enables businesses to make instant, 24/7 cross-border B2B payments on public blockchain networks. NDD is backed 1-to-1 by cash or short-term US Treasuries. Unlike traditional tokenised deposits confined within bank systems or unregulated stablecoins, NDD allows payments to non-custodial blockchain addresses whilst maintaining bank regulation. The ERC-20 token offers continuous settlement without bank fees, pre-screened address allowlisting for compliance, and smart contract programmability. Initially available to enterprises with N3XT client-nominated addresses, access will later expand to any business nominating a blockchain address for allowlisting. N3XT aims to eliminate multi-day clearing delays typical of legacy wire transfers.

N3XT launches MCP to link AI agents with live banking data.

N3XT launches MCP to link AI agents with live banking data. N3XT, a blockchain-based bank focused on programmable B2B payments, has launched N3XT MCP, an implementation of the open Model Context Protocol standard designed to connect corporate AI environments directly to live banking data. The product went live on 28 July 2026. The architecture allows AI agents operating inside a company's own infrastructure to query balances, draft payments, generate reports and trigger escalation workflows without requiring manual data exports or switches between portals. N3XT says the integration preserves existing compliance rules and user permission structures, including maker-checker controls, and keeps queries within the corporate firewall rather than routing data through external AI services. What MCP does in practice. The Model Context Protocol is an open standard, not proprietary to N3XT, that defines how AI agents can request context from external systems in a structured, permissioned way. N3XT's implementation sits on top of its existing API layer and extends it to agentic use cases: rather than a developer calling an API programmatically, an AI assistant can invoke the same capabilities in response to a natural-language instruction from a treasury operator or finance analyst. The practical workflow N3XT describes includes automated discrepancy alerts, smart escalation and scheduled report generation. The governed write capability is the more consequential feature: it means an AI agent can draft a payment instruction, subject to the same approval chain a human user would face, rather than only reading data passively. Aurélien Bonnel, founder and chief technology officer of N3XT, said the launch is intended to standardise how AI agents access live bank data. "We are standardizing how AI agents access live bank data and enabling corporate clients to work within their own environment with data they can trust," he said. Market context and competitive landscape. The treasury and corporate banking technology market is seeing a wave of MCP-adjacent integrations as enterprise software vendors race to make their data layers compatible with large language model tooling. Several banking-as-a-service providers and core banking platform vendors are pursuing similar connectivity, though most have framed it as API enhancement rather than a dedicated agentic protocol layer. N3XT's positioning as a narrow bank built on blockchain, settling in on-chain US dollars, places it in a narrower competitive set than a conventional treasury management system vendor. Its direct competitors are more likely to be programmable payment infrastructure providers and stablecoin-adjacent corporate banking platforms than incumbents. The durability of the advantage depends on whether the MCP interface attracts enterprise treasury clients who prefer keeping AI workloads inside their own environment, a genuine concern given the sensitivity of real-time payment data. From a regulatory standpoint, agentic write access to payment rails sits in an area that regulators are beginning to scrutinise. In the UK, the FCA's ongoing AI and digital innovation work touches on automated decision-making in financial services. In the US, the OCC's guidance on bank technology third-party risk is relevant to any corporate client deploying an AI agent with payment-drafting capability. N3XT's emphasis on firewall containment and existing permission structures is likely a direct response to these concerns, though clients will need to satisfy themselves that the maker-checker workflow survives agentic automation without introducing new operational risk. The next milestones to watch are named enterprise client deployments, independent security audits of the MCP layer, and whether N3XT progresses toward a US bank charter or continues to operate under its current licensing structure.

N3XT has launched N3XT MCP, an open-standard architecture that securely connects AI agents to live banking data. This solution enables enterprise finance teams to automate workflows, including real-time settlement and report generation, directly within their AI platforms while maintaining strict corporate security and compliance standards. How does N3XT MCP solve AI data connectivity? N3XT MCP acts as the essential connective tissue between corporate AI environments and live financial infrastructure. By utilizing an open-standard architecture, N3XT allows treasury teams to bypass the friction of legacy systems. This integration eliminates the need for manual CSV downloads and constant context-switching between banking portals and AI tools. * Governed read/write capabilities for AI assistants. * Direct integration into client AI environments. * Automated discrepancy alerts and smart escalation. "Legacy banking is stunting business growth and transaction speed," said Aurélien Bonnel, N3XT Founder and CTO. "Through the launch of the N3XT MCP, we are standardizing how AI agents access live bank data and enabling corporate clients to work within their own environment with data they can trust. We're pushing the finance industry toward autonomous, secure, trusted and real-time financial management." What are the security benefits for Agentic finance? Agentic finance requires high levels of trust and security to be effective. N3XT MCP ensures that all AI queries remain within the corporate firewall, significantly reducing the risk of data leakage. The protocol is designed to respect existing compliance rules and user permissions, ensuring that AI-driven actions like drafting payments adhere to established maker-checker workflows. * Atomic settlement capabilities for real-time intelligence. * Strict adherence to user permissions and security protocols. * Reduces risks of unapproved AI tool usage. How does this redefine B2B payments? By combining blockchain technology with AI accessibility, N3XT is facilitating a new era of programmable B2B payments. The platform supports 24/7 settlement of real on-chain dollars, allowing businesses to move money as fast as information. This roadmap milestone focuses on autonomous capital management, where AI agents can not only retrieve data but also execute programmatic payment workflows safely. Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence Ff news take: The launch of N3XT MCP is a significant move that addresses the "last mile" problem in enterprise AI adoption. While many firms have AI tools, few have safely connected them to live banking data. By standardizing this link, N3XT is moving the needle toward autonomous treasury. This isn't just a feature; it's a foundational shift for B2B organizations requiring instant, programmable liquidity. Featured speakers.
