NCSoft Corp. announced investments in Korea's Mistil Games and Poland's Virtual Alchemy to diversify its IP portfolio beyond the Lineage franchise. The company acquired global publishing rights for Mistil's "Time Takers" and Virtual Alchemy's "Band of Crusaders," aiming to expand its presence in Eastern Europe. Independent game studio emptyvessel has closed a Series A funding round led by NCSOFT, raising a total of $11 million, including a previous seed round.
