PadSplit's median resident income is $32,500, with 83% employed in roles ranging from hourly workers to travel nurses. PadSplit offers private rooms with shared common areas, weekly all-inclusive pricing, and no minimum credit score requirements. The model eliminates traditional barriers like security deposits and long-term leases whilst allowing residents to align rent payments with payroll dates. The financing comes as housing affordability worsens, with 50% of renters spending over 30% of income on rent.
