Open Government Products (OGP) in Singapore creates and shares information about government policy, schemes and budgets to help businesses and workers understand the impact on their daily lives. Its output consists of official posts and content across channels like LinkedIn and messaging platforms to explain policy updates, government initiatives, and grants for SMEs, while also sharing stories about local entrepreneurs. The way its products work is by curating clear, practical information from the government and distributing it through accessible channels so the public can stay informed and give feedback. OGP’s distinction comes from being an official government platform focused on transparency and public engagement rather than private services or consumer apps. The goal is to connect with Singaporeans, gather feedback on socio-economic issues, and improve understanding of public policies and programs.
