Payfuture connects large online brands to local payment methods in emerging markets through a single API integration. It acts as a payment gateway connector that lets merchants offer popular local options to customers in hard-to-reach regions, enabling new revenue streams as internet usage grows in these markets. The platform works by providing access to regional payment solutions, improving customer journeys, increasing approval rates, and offering conversion recovery tools to boost revenue and performance. Unlike generic gateways, Payfuture focuses on unlocking high-potential markets (covering regions where 85% of the world’s population lives) and provides a competitive edge through specialized local options and performance tools. The company's goal is to enable sustainable, profitable growth for merchants by expanding payment reach and optimizing checkout performance in emerging markets.

The partnership marks UNIGOX's entry into Asia, with multiple markets coming online in the near term. By combining UNIGOX's multi-currency payment infrastructure with Payfuture's established local rails and regulatory expertise in emerging markets, the collaboration gives UNIGOX's customers, which includes remittance companies, neo-banks, retail platforms, and micro-task businesses, a reliable and compliant route to move funds into the region. UNIGOX has built a strong position across Africa and operates throughout Europe, the UK, and the United States, supporting USD, GBP, and EUR alongside virtual account issuance in those markets and across African countries including Nigeria. Its model of enabling businesses to fund and settle via traditional payment methods, or stablecoins, offers a modern alternative to legacy payment providers. The partnership with Payfuture extends that model into some of the world's fastest-growing payment corridors. For UNIGOX's customers, the expansion means access to Asia's rapidly developing payment infrastructure through a single, trusted partner. For Payfuture, it deepens the company's role as the infrastructure layer of choice for businesses entering Asian emerging markets. Manpreet Haer, CEO and Co-founder at Payfuture, said: "UNIGOX has built something genuinely differentiated, a payments model that gives businesses real flexibility in how they fund and settle across borders. We're proud to be the partner powering their move into Asia. Our infrastructure is built for exactly this kind of expansion, and we look forward to bringing more markets online together."
