Raptor Maps provides a software platform for solar asset management. It offers a cloud-based SaaS platform called Raptor Solar that covers the full lifecycle of solar PV assets—from financing and construction to operations. The product works by ingesting data from drones, planes, satellites, and other sources, then using digital twins, aerial thermal inspections, and machine learning to produce analytics that identify, classify, and prioritize anomalies in solar systems. This helps asset owners, O&M teams, EPCs, and financiers to boost power production, reduce risks, and lower operating costs. Raptor Maps differentiates itself through end-to-end lifecycle coverage, data fusion from multiple sources (inverters, pyranometers, weather), STC normalization to align with OEM warranties, and a network of drone service providers for global inspection data capture. Its goal is to be a data-driven partner that optimizes solar PV assets and supports stakeholders in the solar energy sector.

GameChange & Raptor Maps launch integrated solar inspection system. Integrated monitoring platform by GameChange Solar and Raptor Maps combined tracker analytics with autonomous inspections for utility-scale solar assets. 13 May 2026 13:14 IST GameChange Solar, global supplier of solar tracker and fixed-tilt racking technology, has partnered with Raptor Maps to launch an integrated solar tracker monitoring and robotic inspection system. The solution combines GameChange Solar's GeniusVision tracker monitoring software with Raptor Maps' Sentry autonomous inspection platform for utility-scale solar sites. According to GameChange Solar, the platform continuously monitors tracker health, identifies anomalies, and autonomously deploys robotic inspections without requiring technician dispatches. Raptor Maps stated that inspection data collected by Sentry feeds back into GeniusVision, enabling improved tracker algorithms, stow behavior, and site-specific performance optimization. The companies said the integrated platform supports routine inspections, severe weather damage assessments, construction quality verification, and operational maintenance workflows. GameChange Solar noted that the collaboration follows its recent expansion into transformer manufacturing and electrical balance-of-systems operations.
GameChange Solar has partnered with Raptor Maps to launch the first integrated solar tracker monitoring and robotic inspection system. The solution combines GameChange's GeniusVision tracker monitoring software with Raptor Maps' Sentry robotic inspection platform, creating a continuous feedback loop between tracker performance and inspection data. GeniusVision monitors tracker health across solar sites and remotely deploys Sentry to collect inspection data when issues arise, eliminating the need to dispatch technicians. The collected data refines GeniusVision's algorithms, creating a self-improving system that reduces operational costs and shortens response times. The platform supports various operational needs, including autonomous routine inspections, rapid anomaly response, and post-storm damage assessment. GameChange Solar has delivered over 58 GW of solar tracker systems globally.
Raptor Maps is building the integrated operating system for the solar industry, enabling the industry to scale and meet global climate goals.
Raptor Maps has closed a $35 million Series C financing round led by Maverix Private Equity, with participation from existing investors. The investment aims to enhance solar farm productivity and accelerate smart energy solutions. Raptor Maps plans to use the funds to advance product development in solar automation and machine-learning insights, and to expand its team. The company recently launched Raptor Solar Sentry, a software product for solar operations and maintenance.
Raptor Maps secured a $22 million Series B investment in 2022 from Canadian private investment firm MacKinnon, Bennett & Co., a specialist in energy, transportation, and climate tech.
