Vadzo Imaging has successfully validated its Bolt-1335CRO 13MP autofocus camera with optical image stabilisation on Raspberry Pi 5, demonstrating production-ready integration using native Linux tools. The MIPI CSI-2 camera achieves stable streaming at Full HD (1920 × 1080 @ 30 FPS) and full 13MP resolution (4208 × 3120) without proprietary middleware. The system uses V4L2 and Linux media controller framework for direct sensor-to-processor communication, enabling lower latency and deterministic frame delivery. Developers can control brightness, exposure, white balance and image orientation through standard V4L2 interfaces whilst streaming. The validation enables applications in industrial automation, robotics, smart retail and medical imaging. The camera is part of Vadzo's MIPI CSI-2 portfolio for embedded platforms, supported by validated firmware and full V4L2 compatibility.
