Render Networks has appointed John Sullivan as chief technology officer to lead AI acceleration and scale its engineering organisation. The appointment follows the company's growth investment and acquisition of mPower Innovations. Sullivan brings over 30 years of technology leadership experience across startups and global tech companies. He previously served as head of solutions architecture and CTO for ISV & SaaS at AWS, where he helped software companies modernise and grow. Sullivan will partner with chief product & partnership officer Rob Laudati to strengthen engineering whilst leading technology architecture and software delivery. He joins as Render expands ClearWay, its agentic AI layer built on Databricks, which uses governed agents to validate work, guide decisions and act on real-time field data. Render Networks provides execution systems for critical infrastructure.
Render Networks has unveiled ClearWay, an agentic AI architecture for critical infrastructure execution, at Mobile World Congress Barcelona 2026. The system enables infrastructure operators to deploy technologies with reduced decision delays and minimal friction. ClearWay operates through federated specialised agents with defined autonomy, managed identity and least-privilege access. The spring release will introduce field assurance and work approval capabilities for telecom and electric deployments, validating field evidence against planned work in real-time and autonomously approving work when predefined criteria are met. Built for environments including fibre broadband, electric grid modernisation and data centres, ClearWay aims to accelerate design-to-build lead times, reduce rework and improve working capital velocity whilst maintaining audit-grade accountability and engineering authority.
Render Networks ushers in next generation of broadband deployment intelligence with ClearSight. Prev Next 1 of 42,327 Render Networks announced the launch of ClearSight, an AI-powered evolution of its business intelligence layer built on the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. ClearSight delivers continuous visibility, predictive insights, and performance accountability across every phase of broadband deployment. Powered by the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform, ClearSight advances Render Networks' business intelligence capabilities and delivers next phase of AI-driven broadband deployment insights. By turning Render's connected field and geospatial data into focused intelligence, ClearSight bridges the gap between field execution and strategic decision-making. Business leaders gain clarity into portfolio progress and delivery confidence, project managers can track quality and contractor performance with ease, and finance teams gain precise insight into labor and materials required and used - all within one shared environment designed to drive faster, more informed, data-backed decisions. "With ClearSight, we're embedding advanced data and AI capabilities that will redefine how the entire broadband value chain anticipates risks, forecasts outcomes, and uncovers opportunities across large-scale infrastructure environments," said Stephen Rose, CEO of Render Networks. "ClearSight supports great decision-making at every stage of infrastructure deployment and gives our customers the clarity to act faster and the confidence to evolve toward AI-driven operations." Render's integration with Databricks marks a pivotal step in evolving how data and AI are visualized and applied to decision-making as networks and supporting infrastructure are built. By powering ClearSight with the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform, Render is equipping broadband operators and builders with the continuous insights needed to move from insight to action and from reactive management to proactive, predictive operations. "We're seeing an unprecedented demand from enterprises that want to leverage AI to derive real-time insights. With ClearSight, Render is making it easier than ever for their customers, regardless of their function, to harness insights to make meaningful decisions using capabilities like Databricks AI/BI and Agent Bricks," said Adam Beavis, VP and Country Manager of Databricks ANZ. "These innovations pave the way to build multi-agent AI systems to deliver proactive recommendations and smarter decision-making for their customers in the near future." The Databricks Data Intelligence Platform and Databricks' flagship AI product Agent Bricks democratize access to data and AI, making it easier for organizations to harness the power of their data for analytics, AI apps and agents. Built on an open source foundation, the platform enables organizations to drive innovation to increase revenue, lower costs, and reduce risk. ClearSight represents the next evolution of business intelligence in the Render platform, giving operators and builders unmatched visibility and data confidence across their entire project portfolio.
