French medical telemonitoring startup Resilience Care has acquired Recovery Cat, a Berlin-based mental health platform. The acquisition gives Resilience access to nearly 20 German hospitals and medical practices, plus a contract with Techniker Krankenkasse, Germany's leading health insurance provider with 12.5 million members. Recovery Cat emerged from research at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin. The platform allows patients to track symptoms, side effects, and personal resources, then review progress with healthcare providers. The TK contract enables insured members to use Recovery Cat without fees whilst participating healthcare professionals receive compensation. The deal continues Resilience's acquisition strategy, following purchases of Betterise in 2021, GutyCare in 2023, and Gimli in 2024. Resilience now monitors 42,000 patients across more than 220 facilities in oncology, gastroenterology, and psychiatry.

The company also secured a selective care contract with Techniker Krankenkasse (TK), Germany[[ʼ]]s largest statutory health insurer, giving patients free access to the app and enabling healthcare providers to receive reimbursement for their therapy monitoring activities. In the coming months, Recovery Cat[[ʼ]]s centers will gradually transition to Resilience Care[[ʼ]]s platform, while the teams will deepen existing, well-established partnerships.
