Rise Against Hunger mobilizes volunteers and partners to package nutritious meals and participate in engagement programs that support food security, education, and economic empowerment worldwide. It works by having volunteers assemble nutritionally balanced meals, which are shipped to communities in need, and by combining meal programs with education and income-building activities to build resilience. The organization’s strength comes from its four-star Charity Navigator rating, large global network of U.S. and international offices, and availability of both hands-on and virtual volunteering options. Its goal is to create a world without hunger by expanding access to nutritious food, knowledge, and economic opportunities for underserved people.
