Terminal Industries launches Missions™ to transform yard operations with AI-driven workflows

Terminal Industries has launched Terminal Missions, a new capability within its Yard Operating System that converts yard tasks into structured, real-time digital transactions. The AI-powered platform transforms how yards plan and execute operations through milestone-driven workflows. Unlike traditional yard management systems that record past activity, Missions creates structured workflows triggered by driver arrivals or yard dispatch, enabling operators to proactively manage execution in real time. The system integrates signals from computer vision, gate systems and enterprise platforms into executable transactions. Early deployments have shown a 50% improvement in data accuracy and up to 2x improvement in yard throughput. The platform operates through driver-initiated workflows with defined milestones and facility-initiated workflows where dispatch can assign resources and track completion.
