Truework

Truework

Verifies income and employment for applicants

Overview

Truework provides a single platform to verify a job applicant’s income and employment status. It works by automatically routing each verification to the most efficient method and returning a completed, verified result. The platform is highly customizable so businesses can tailor the verification workflow to their needs, and clients only pay when a verification is completed accurately (pay-per-result). A key advantage is its partnership with TransUnion, which adds credibility and resources. Compared with competitors, Truework emphasizes automatic routing, faster verifications, and a value-based pricing model, along with strong risk controls. The company aims to increase loan pipelines for lenders, reduce verification costs and manual work, speed up approvals, and decrease income fraud, helping businesses convert more applicants while verifying them quickly and reliably.

Order VOIE and VOA in one click with Truework.

Order VOIE and VOA in one click with Truework. Stay in the loop. Zach Ennenga Published on 1 May 2026 When I joined Truework, one of the things that drew me to the problem was how fragmented verification had become for mortgage lenders. Too many vendors, manual steps, and disconnected workflows created unnecessary complexity for teams and borrowers alike. Today, Truework is closing that gap. Truework has launched Verification of Assets (VOA) on the Truework platform. Lenders can now order income, employment, and asset verification together in one place, through one workflow, with one vendor. I'm excited to share how it works and why it matters. One workflow. Now with VOA. VOA is now available as a report type on Truework, either as a standalone service or bundled alongside VOIE in a single session. It gives lenders a standardized digital view of a borrower's cash assets held in financial institutions, including available cash, historical balances, and automatic flagging of large deposits per GSE guidelines. The report is generated in under 10 minutes after the borrower connects their bank and uses the same format you're already used to with Truework. For lenders using a separate vendor or manual process for asset verification, this means fewer systems to manage and a simpler experience for borrowers. Truework has always been about giving lenders one trusted platform for verification. Truework started by helping teams move away from managing multiple vendors for income and employment verification, and now Truework is extending that same streamlined experience to assets. One vendor for everything. Income, employment, and assets can now be verified on a single platform with one contract, one integration, and one workflow. That means less operational overhead and less complexity across your verification process. A better experience for borrowers. Borrowers complete income and asset verification in one flow, connect their bank once, and avoid manual statement uploads. Fewer steps create a smoother experience and help protect completion rates. Reports built for underwriting teams. VOA reports follow the same standardized Truework format, making them easy to review, share, and submit. Large deposits are flagged automatically based on GSE guidance, so teams can focus on decisions instead of manual review. Truework believe verification works best when income, employment, and assets come together in a single workflow. That's the experience Truework is building at Truework. What's next for Truework. VOA is available now. If you're an existing Truework customer, talk to your CSM about adding VOA today. If you're evaluating Truework for the first time, Truework'd welcome the chance to walk you through the full platform. Either way, I'd love to hear how it lands - and what you'd want to see Truework build next.
