New Zealand Superannuation Fund acquires 5.2% stake in Vista Group for $7.2M

The New Zealand Superannuation Fund has become a substantial shareholder in Vista Group International, acquiring 12,304,605 ordinary shares representing 5.152% of the company. The stake is divided between NZSF's internal equities portfolios (3.798%) and a portfolio managed by Mint Asset Management (1.354%). The fund accumulated the holding through net on-market purchases of approximately 2.41 million Vista shares between 15 September 2025 and 15 January 2026, with total purchases of around $7.17 million offset by $0.92 million in sales. Vista Group International is a New Zealand-listed company with ordinary shares trading under the ticker AU:VGL, currently holding a market capitalisation of A$460.4 million. Analysts maintain a buy rating on the stock with a A$3.22 price target.
