Worldia unveils cruise, wellness & AI tools ahead of Virtuoso debut. 08-06-2026 9:12 am Michael Pihach is an award-winning journalist with a keen interest in digital storytelling. In addition to PAX, Michael has also written for CBC Life, Ryerson University Magazine, IN Magazine, and DailyXtra.ca. Michael joins PAX after years of working at popular Canadian television shows, such as Steven and Chris, The Goods and The Marilyn Denis Show. Worldia is expanding its product lineup and advisor technology as it prepares to make its debut at Virtuoso Travel Week, introducing new cruise extensions, a wellness-focused travel collection and AI-powered sales tools while significantly growing its advisor network across North America. The Paris, France-based travel technology company says more than 75,000 travel advisors are expected to join its platform during the third and fourth quarters of 2026 through new partnerships with host agencies, consortia and travel organizations. As previously reported, Worldia combines advanced tech, AI-powered automation, and a full tour operator backbone to allow travel advisors to build, customize, price, and sell complex FIT itineraries quickly. The Connected Cruise. Among the company's newest offerings is The Connected Cruise by Worldia, a collection of pre- and post-cruise travel experiences designed to complement ocean voyages. The product combines cultural stays, culinary itineraries, wellness escapes and privately guided tours in major cruise gateway destinations. Worldia says each extension is booked, priced and managed alongside the cruise itinerary under a single operational guarantee. The company says the concept allows advisors to create end-to-end vacations that extend beyond the cruise itself while increasing booking value. "Today's travellers aren't thinking about separate cruise and land vacations. They're thinking about one complete journey," said Erwan Corre, co-founder and chief revenue officer of Worldia, in a statement. "Our Connected Cruise approach allows advisors to extend the vacation beyond the ship, creating richer experiences while making it easier to deliver a seamless itinerary from beginning to end. It's another step in bringing the Connected Trip vision to life." Wellth by Worldia. Worldia also announced the launch of Wellth by Worldia, a new collection of customizable travel experiences built around travelers' desired wellness outcomes rather than destinations. The collection evaluates experiences across five wellness pillars: movement, recovery, mindfulness, nature and nutrition. According to the company, the framework is designed to help advisors tailor trips around goals such as improving sleep, reducing stress, reconnecting with nature or simply taking time to recharge. Worldia noted that the Global Wellness Institute projects the wellness tourism economy will surpass US$1.4 trillion by 2027, as demand continues to rise for travel that supports physical, mental and emotional well-being. Ryan McElroy, strategic advisor at Worldia, said the new collection aims to simplify an increasingly fragmented market. "The wellness travel market is experiencing tremendous growth, but the inventory remains highly fragmented," said McElroy, a strategic advisor at Worldia. "Every destination, hotel and supplier defines wellness differently." "Wellth by Worldia creates a common framework that helps advisors curate travel based on desired outcomes rather than marketing labels. As wellness inventory continues to expand globally, advisors need a smarter, more connected way to discover, package and sell these experiences." Ryan McElroy is a strategic advisor at Worldia. At Virtuoso Travel Week and the Virtuoso Technology Summit, Worldia will also preview a new suite of advisor technology aimed at generating more leads and increasing FIT sales. New features include dedicated advisor landing pages to drive qualified inquiries, AI-powered voice technology that can engage prospective travellers while qualifying leads, and further enhancements to the company's Connected Trip platform, which integrates itinerary creation, supplier connectivity, operations and traveller support into a single system. The company said its first appearance at Virtuoso Travel Week, which takes place in Las Vegas from Aug. 8-14, will provide advisors and partners with an exclusive look at its latest products and technology as it continues to expand its Connected Trip ecosystem in North America. Worldia expands in Canada. Earlier this year, the company reported explosive sales growth in Canada, suggesting its technology-driven approach to selling FIT travel is resonating with Canadian travel advisors. "We answer a need that is very clear: how to book FIT in a way that's fast, simple and uncomplicated," Jonathan Boiria, Worldia's head of international business development, told PAX in a previous interview. "Agents can build a tailor-made package in a few minutes - on weekends, evenings, whenever - without having to call a supplier. They no longer have to do it the old-fashioned way, piecing something together with 10 suppliers, requoting everything, and going back and forth. They can do it in one stop, with real-time pricing and availability." Some of the major travel companies that have partnered with Worldia include Transat, Trevello, Travel Best Bets and Uniglobe.
